PlayHouse, StopNCII Partner to Prevent Nonconsensual Spread of Intimate Images

LOS ANGELES — PlayHouse has partnered with StopNCII.org to prevent the spread of nonconsensual intimate images (NCII) online.

"At PlayHouse, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive community for all our users," said PlayHouse CEO William O’Halloran. "We take a stand against non-consensual intimate image-based abuse and are dedicated to working alongside StopNCII.org to address this issue and implement significant measures to proactively prevent such incidents from happening."

Sophie Mortimer, the UK revenge porn helpline manager at South West Grid for Learning, which operates StopNCII, enthused about the partnership.

“We are delighted to have Playhouse join StopNCII.org to further the global protection against intimate image abuse,” she said. “StopNCII.org has rapidly become a globally established initiative and having organisations join us from all parts of the world is the positivity and commitment we need to eradicate intimate image abuse for good.’’
